Welcome to Kingfisher Hall Academy
Kingfisher Hall is a happy and welcoming primary school in our local community. We give every child strong teaching, clear routines and a safe place to learn. Families trust us because we know every child well and help them do their best. In 2026, the government described Kingfisher Hall as one of the “very best schools in the country” – especially for how we help children overcome challenges and succeed, no matter their background. Our school is calm, caring, safe and full of children who enjoy coming in each day.
Our School
Kingfisher Hall Primary Academy is a happy, welcoming school serving families in our local Enfield community. We have a modern building with excellent classrooms and outdoor spaces where children can learn, play, and grow.
We are part of North Star Community Trust, which runs four schools across North London. This means we can share ideas and support from other schools, while keeping our own special identity.
How We Teach
We believe children learn best when they feel safe and supported. We use simple routines and clear rules so that everyone knows what to expect. Our teachers help every child to make progress, whether they need extra support or more challenge.
Reading is at the heart of our school. We encourage every family to read at home together for at least 15 minutes each day. Reading helps children with all subjects and builds confidence.
We check every child’s learning carefully. If anyone needs help, we give support straight away. Children with Special Educational Needs get the care and teaching they need to succeed.
Our Families
We are proud to serve a diverse and caring community. We value every family’s language, culture and story. We welcome parents and carers into school and work together to help every child do their best.
Our Community Outreach team is here to help families who need extra support. We also run a breakfast club and after-school care for busy parents.
Our Results
In 2025, 78% of our Year 6 children reached the expected level in reading, writing and maths. This is higher than both the local Enfield average (69%) and the national average (62%).
Our strong results show how hard our pupils and staff work every day. We’re proud of our reading and maths progress — but even more proud that our children leave us ready for secondary school, full of confidence and ambition.
